Curator's Notes
Rich, bold, and robust... this isn’t your typical fruity light roast. Layered notes of dark fruit linger on the tongue while brown sugar and candied grapes remind us of a rich Cabernet. Come dip your toes in the deep end!
Roaster's Notes
While many of our Kenyan coffees taste like bright fruit juice, the Riabai takes a turn towards the deep end: the acidity pulled back a touch, big dark fruits anchored by rich brown sugar and raisinets candy. It's nice to maintain contrasts, and this coffee is a departure from the other Kenyan coffees of the Kuma lineup this season.
