Roaster's Notes
Sourced from El Injerto in Guatemala's Huehuetenango highlands, this single origin espresso is sweet and layered with notes of chocolate, raspberry, and candied ginger. This is the eleventh consecutive year Equator has offered El Injerto's Red Catuaí variety — Red Cat for short — purchased directly from the farm. Originally offered as a filter coffee, this is the third year we are featuring it as a single origin espresso, where the Catuaí variety's juicy, dynamic, and fruity qualities evolve into chocolate covered raspberry and candied ginger.
