Roaster's Notes
This lot is made up of the peaberries that were separated out from the 2024/25 harvest in the El Cuarenteño community in the state of Nayarit, Mexico. Grown in the shade, in volcanic soils, and at an elevation of about 1,000 masl, these cherries were picked ripe and later processed at the El Rustico wet mill - an impressive mill that makes use of multiple rooftops to float cherries, pulp and dry the coffee (with a view!) as well as store the dried parchment coffee until it's ready to be milled and prepped for export. Our very first peaberry here at Dapper & Wise, and they're the cutest lil beans we've ever roasted!
