Curator's Notes
Vista del Lago is named for its prime location: situated at 1650 meters on Costa Rica's rugged, rolling landscape, this "lakeview" micro-mill may be one of the most beautiful spots in Terrazu, Costa Rica. Unsurprisingly, they produce the coffee to match! You'll taste a light, round sweetness in the front of this cup, subtle and juicy, but the real payout in this roast is the creamy, caramel-like mouthfeel: reminiscent of rich marzipan and butter cookie, the finish is rich, long, and decadent. A delicious example of a honey-processed coffee from the country that invented it.
