Most old-school fans of Victrola Coffee have become well acquainted over the years with our favorite Honduran coffee farm. Finca Las Brisas in El Cielito, Santa Barbara owned by Denis Teruel. Since 2013 we’ve been purchasing the entirety of Mr. Teruel’s specialty crop, and his coffee has been a roastery and fan favorite year after year.
This coffee has a smooth, medium body with rich chocolate and almond notes, subtle baking spice, and a crisp acidity akin to a ripe red apple.
"This is one of the best coffees I've ever tried. It's exhales waves of spicy smells after you grind it up and it's got a smooth, nutty to spicy, and slightly acidic flavor that has been difficult to beat. "
"Even though I am a fan of all of these notes, I didn’t absolutely love it like I anticipated I would. The smell of the beans while roasting had me next to the coffee pot as it brewed! Just a tad too bitter for my liking. "
"Had this delicious coffee on Christmas morning. It was absolutely scrumptious. I prefer cold brew coffee, and this did not disappoint."
"I had this coffee Christmas morning and it was a subtle and smooth taste. It really has a crisp acidity that’s not too overwhelming, especially if you drink it black. It has mostly a chocolatey tone to it but if you add sugar, the red apple flavor REALLY pops. It has a sweet tangy feel if you gulp. "
