Why I’m Obsessed: If you’ve ever wished your dark roast had just a little more going on - more fruit, more sweetness, more depth - this is it. Our friends at PERC Coffee set out to create the “best dang dark roast of all time.” Ambitious? Absolutely. But (spoiler alert) they nailed it. Darrrk is a natural Ethiopia Guji, roasted low and slow to coax out a thick, syrupy body, rich sweetness, and that signature natural-process pop of fruit. I don’t usually lean toward darker roasts, but I couldn’t stop drinking this one. Think dark caramel, toasty brown sugar, black currant, grilled fig, and deep roasty notes, all in perfect harmony. It’s gorgeous in a French press, stellar as espresso, and absolutely MADE for milk or cream. We started with the natural Ethiopia Sasaba and added the right amount of time and temperature to our traditional profile, and boom. The best dark roast ever.
