Bean Box Breakdown

It's too bad this coffee is such a limited lot: at first taste, we knew it was a "keeper"! Offered exclusively to us by the master of thoughtful darker roasts, this high-grown Papua New Guinea is a special take on the classic Indonesian profile. At first sip, you'll note how velvety-smooth this coffee is, with a body reminiscent of dark drinking chocolate. Flavors are spicy like root beer, with a subtle sweetness like burnt caramel and a complex, herbal finish without a hint of bitterness. Easy to drink, hard to put down: a true treat for a palate that loves flavorful darker-roasted coffee.

"Love the root beer taste to this. It made me think of being a kid and immediately I thought to make an affogato using these beans. It's like a delicious coffee root beer float. It was one of the best decisions I've made. This is moving to the regular rotation. "

"Made in a french press it delivers an excellent cup of coffee. I usually drink my coffee with milk but enjoy this one black as well. The spicy finish is very hard to describe but distinctive and excellent. Despite being a darker roast it isn't overpowering or smoky. I would buy this one again!"
