Roaster's Notes
Produced by the Nthimbiri Farmers Co-operative Society, this coffee lot is a collaborative effort to support the development and economic empowerment of smallholder farmers in the local Meru county community. Cherries for this lot are picked ripe and delivered to the Ntongoro wet mill on the same day to ensure peak freshness. After the outer cherry later is removed, the seeds undergo 36 hours of fermentation before being washed a final time and set out to dry in the sun.
