It sounds like the title of a great children's book: "Camber and the Caramel Apple Burundi". But the magic of this coffee, and our new partner Camber, is completely real! Camber Coffee is a local roaster just north of Seattle, one that's been on my radar for a year now. Their coffees first arrived on my desk in early March 2020, the week that everything in Seattle began to shut down, and I've been waiting months to share their light-roast magic with you. That day is finally here! Although Camber is new to Bean Box, they aren't new to the national spotlight. Camber was founded in 2015, a collaboration between coffee and culinary pros, and quickly made their way into recognition within the luxury food space. You'll find their coffees served at some of the country's highest-profile fine dining restaurants, including Seattle's Canlis and Willows Inn. Camber means "curve", a name that recognizes their founding philosophy of sourcing top-quality, ethical green coffees and roasting with careful attention to the pursuit of sweetness and clarity. After just one sip of their coffee, I knew they deserved a place in any coffee lover's kitchen.
