Kenyan-owned Jamii Coffee's main drive is to import economically and environmentally sustainable coffees while increasing the farmer's ownership. "Coffee Belongs to the Farmer" is a new, ethical green coffee sourcing program developed by Jamii Coffee. This system ensures that coffee growers are compensated fairly, receiving a stable and equitable price that genuinely reflects the costs and labor involved in coffee cultivation. Mukarimu Farm is part of the program which promise to increase farmers' vertical integration in the supply chain and higher profit margins for them. You may see the effect in the cup as well: a bright and optimistic coffee with sweet & clean finish.
