“My morning happens in increments. In the early part, before the sun breaks, it's [just] me.”
§ What time do you get to sleep? What time do you wake up?
It depends. But on average, I'm asleep by midnight and up by 5:30.
§ What do you dream about?
§ What’s the first thing you do once you’re awake?
Pray. Then daydream.
§ What morning ritual do you have that’s sacred to starting your day off right?
Meditation. I do three specific timed mediations: my feelings and wellbeing, my alignment with the universe for the day, gratitude
§ What one possession/object is essential to your morning?
My paper journal.
§ With whom do you spend your mornings?
My morning happens in increments. In the early part, before the sun breaks, it's me, me with myself, me with my thoughts and energy, me with my Creator. Moving into the first part of the day, its whomever I'm working with be it a project, or traveling to a coffee shop destination or shooting a subject.
§ What do you eat for breakfast?
One liter of water, a beet based juice, fresh fruit. And, depending on the day, an espresso based coffee.
§ What kind of coffee do you drink in the morning, and how do you prepare it?
If I'm making coffee at home, currently its usually a single origin coffee by French Press. If I'm having a coffee away from home, currently its a flat white with oat milk.
§ What’s the one upgrade you wish you could add to your morning?
A full coffee setup from Alessi.
§ What do you consider the end of your morning?
